Silver Safari started in 1996 at NorthTown Mall in Spokane. We started out selling Sterling Silver and Semi-precious stone jewelry, body jewelry, African and Indonesian Wood Carvings, and piercing ears. My training to become a body piercer happened in 2000 and I was hooked! I loved it, my clientele loved it and they were so happy to have us in the mall where they felt comfortable.
I made it a goal to provide a safe, comfortable, family friendly environment, provide education about body piercing, and carry quality, medical grade jewelry, and that is what we have accomplished.
In 2014, we expanded our reach to the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood Washington and have been privileged to serve this wonderful community with our high standards of piercing.
We have the best clientele and the best staff! It's very gratifying to make people happy every day by helping them express themselves in a safe and sterile way.
We travel to several trade shows each year to hand pick jewelry, wood carvings, and merchandise for stores. It is during these times that we get to talk with our vendors face to face, look at new merchandise coming into the market and bring new and exciting pieces of jewelry and other merchandise back to the stores. Many of the people we buy from travel to these shows from other countries.
As we approach 30 years of Silver Safari and serving our communities, we are very grateful for our wonderful clientele, and for being able to do what we love.
